The first ever political programme organised by the rebel Akalis under the banner of the SADl, Sudhar Lehar, held on the death anniversary of former SAD chief Jathedar Mohan Singh Tur at his native Tur village, evoked good response from the area residents.
Gurpartap Singh Wadala, convener of the SAD (Sudhar Lehar), said another programme would be organised on the 100th birth anniversary of former SGPC president Gurcharan Singh Tohra followed by a function to mark barsi of Sant Harchand Singh Longowal on August 20 at his native Longowal village. — OC
