AAP general secretary and Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat on Monday met members of the Punjab School Education Board Daily Wage Employees Union, Mohali, and the Punjab State Co-operatives, Boards, Corporations, Employees and Workers Mahasangh over their demands.

The members shared their views while handing over a letter addressed to the Chief Minister, Punjab, to Barsat.

The members of the Punjab School Education Board Daily Wage Employees Union, Mohali, said a policy was rolled out by the government in October 2022 to regularise 525 temporary employees of the board along with 8,736 temporary teachers. A seven-member committee was also formed for the same, all related work was also sent to the government, but till today no action had been taken.
