Chandigarh, November 12

Forest Minister Sangat Singh Gilzian today terminated the services of a retired forest ranger, Chamkaur Singh, who had been engaged as an officer on special duty (OSD) by his predecessor Sadhu Singh Dharamsot.

The forest ranger after retirement as range officer from Patiala had been re-engaged by Dharamsot as his OSD.

It is learnt the role of the forest ranger had been under the scanner for some time. The orders have been issued by the Divisional Forest Officer, Wildlife, Patiala.
