Four days after a child reportedly went missing from a school, Kuthala residents today protested at Sandhaur police station.

Alleging police inaction, the protesters raised slogans against the state government and cops.

“The boy had gone to school, but did not return. Apart from registering an FIR against the abductor, cops must take action against the school authorities,” said Kuthala residents.

Sandhaur SHO Sanjeev Kapoor said: “The mother has taken the child with her. Mother and father are separated. We are taking action as per law and the agitators have ended their protest.”
