The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced the final results for the recruitment of 200 Agriculture Development Officers (Group A) in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The results were declared late on Friday.

Sharing details, Jatinder Singh Aulukh, Chairman, PPSC, said 6,820 candidates had applied for the written examination, which was conducted on June 30. The combined merit list and category-wise merit lists have now been uploaded on the official PPSC website: www.ppsc.gov.in.

Aulukh said the recruitment process was conducted in a completely fair and impartial manner, ensuring transparency at every stage. The examination remained mired in controversy following allegations of paper leak. In July, the PPSC junked the allegations of paper leak following an internal probe.

The matter came to the fore after an aspirant lodged a complaint of paper leak with the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) three days before the examination.

Ajay Singh Jakhar, a tutor who runs a coaching institute, had posted a video on social media levelling allegations of paper leak. He had claimed that an aspirant for the post of ADO had raised the issue and lodged a complaint with the CMO.
