Accepting a long pending demand of people of Bhadaur area, Minister for Transport Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Thursday, laid a foundation stone for renovating a bus stand at a cost of Rs 2.16 crore.

Warring said residents of Bhadaur would get access to best amenities at the bus stand.

“Around 90 buses will plying to various parts of the state from here. The modernisation of the bus stand includes five bays for boarding buses, inquiry centre, canteen, drinking water and toilets.”

He lauded the efforts of sarpanch Harpreet Singh of Nainewal village for being earning a honoour of developing best self-made smart school.

Bhadaur MLA Pirmal Singh Dhaula, former MLA Surinder Kaur Walia, SSP Alka Meena, ADC (G) Amit Bamby, Tapa SDM Simarpreet Kaur and SP Kuldeep Singh Sohi were also present.
