A joint meeting of the Log Bachao, Pind Bachao Sangharsh committee (Kshetra Beet) and the Kandi Sangharsh committee was held in village Tibbian of the Beet area, chaired by Balbir Chand. During the meeting, Maha Singh Rodi and Kulbhushan Kumar Mahindwani highlighted the pressing issues facing the Kandi and Beet regions.

Maha Singh Rodi strongly condemned deforestation, illegal mining, and the arbitrary practices of the crusher mafia, stating that such activities would not be tolerated. He urged the government to take immediate action to protect farmers’ crops from damage caused by stray and wild animals.

The meeting also discussed plans for a major conference to address the issue of the Kandi canal and its operations according to regulations. The conference will be held at village Pojewal Adda Saran on January 19, with organisers calling for a large turnout to support the cause.

Ramji Das Chauhan Ratanpur, Achhar Singh Torowal, Harmesh Lal Dhiman Binewal, Ram Shah Beaton, and others were also present at the meeting.
