The police here have booked two persons —Veena Jain and her husband Sushil Jain — for allegedly ‘tampering’ with the site plan of their building.

Complainant Jasinder Kaur Sekhon wrote to the SSP that the couple were using their buiding for commercial purpose in a residential area, which was in violation of Sangrur city’s master plan.

In his report, the DA (Legal) mentioned that statements of witnesses and findings of the inquiry officer prima facie found violation of the building site plan.
