DSP Sukhminder Singh Chauhan and PSPCL officials rushed to the spot and assured the protesters of restoring electricity supply by evening.

Tarlochan Singh, former sarpanch, said due to the dust storm on June 28, power supply in rural areas got disrupted. The villagers had approached the PSPCL officials to restore electricity supply, but to no avail. —OC
