On NCSC directions, Ldh doctor gets MBBS degree

Chandigarh: After the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) directions, the Punjab Government on Tuesday issued the MBBS degree to a Ludhiana-based SC doctor. The degree was earlier withheld by the college authorities due to amendments to the post-matric scholarship scheme for SC students. Commission chairman Vijay Sampla had asked the government and college authorities to release the degree of Dr Sheena Mattu. tns
