SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami appealed to people working in the AI field to email their suggestions to the SGPC at info@sgpc.net before October 1, so that these can be discussed at the meeting.

He said AI was being used to hurt religious sentiments of Sikhs. It was creating an atmosphere of conflict among communities. “Although the SGPC files police complaints in such cases besides taking other actions, it is necessary to formulate a strong policy based on suggestions received from AI experts,” he added.
