Former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu today took a dig at the AAP government in Punjab, claiming that the ‘state government is taking a loan of Rs 100 crore per day’ to run its populist schemes and challenged Mann for a face-to-face debate telecast live on social media’. Ahead of the Budget, Sidhu claimed that the government of Punjab should tell the people of the state about the debt on every resident of the state.

Addressing a press conference at his residence, Sidhu said the state government had failed on the law and order front in the state. “Law and order is one big reason along with the rising debt on the state that the youngsters are rushing abroad,” said Sidhu, sitting across a table covered with the Congress symbol.
