The trimming of Sidhu Moosewala’s security has once again come to the fore as a major factor in the singer’s killing.
Phone conversations between the shooters on the ground and the mastermind Goldy Brar, based in Canada, reveal that the killers moved swiftly into action after the security trimming orders became public on May 28 afternoon.
As per the phone conversation between Goldy Brar and Priyavrat-leader of one module of shooters, Brar is heard telling that the security cover is gone and saying, “Fauji, kam kal hi karna hai.” (Work must be done tomorrow-May 29).
Fauji is the nickname of Priyavrat. He in turn referred to Goldy Brar as ‘Doctor’. Another call was made at around 4:30 pm on May 29 telling the ‘doctor’ that Moosewala was moving out of the house.
Another conversation recorded on May 29 after the killing reveals Fauji calling the ‘doctor’ and saying ‘Kam kar dita’ (work is done). This was just after the shooters had sprayed dozens of bullets at Moosewala.
