Chandigarh: Congress and Akali leaders sparred with each other on the issue of farm Bills.

Charging the SAD with doublespeak, Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Wednesday sought resignation of Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal from the Cabinet. He accused Akalis of putting personal business interests above the needs of the farmers.

On the other hand, the SAD said Captain Amarinder should apologise to farmers for failing to protect their interests in Parliament. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
