Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday termed Congress leader Navjot Sidhu a ‘useless turncoat’, adding that he was a liability for every party in which he goes.

Mann said this while speaking at a function where he handed over appointment letters to 457 youth in various departments.

These leaders shifted their loyalties every hour due to which people had no faith in them. The Chief Minister said it was a matter of pride for him that more than 40,000 youth had been selected for the posts purely on the basis of merit. He said this step was aimed at ensuring reverse migration in the state by checking the brain drain from Punjab by opening new vistas for the youth.

The Chief Minister said the traditional parties were envy of him because he hails from a common family.
