Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) leader Ruldu Singh Mansa has got security cover from the Mansa police. Mansa’s camp (protest site at Tikri) was attacked last month by some unidentified persons and he has also been getting threats on social media platforms recently. “I have decided to take the cover after the decision was unanimously taken in the Punjab Kisan Union meeting,” Mansa said. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
