A Sikh delegation led by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar here on Monday and expressed anguish at Sikh minority members and their religious places being targeted in Pakistan.

The delegation urged the Centre to take up the matter with the Pakistan government and the UNO.

The delegation referred to the vandalisim at the Nankana Sahib gurdwara, and the targeted killing of Sikh youth Ravinder Singh in Peshawar.

It demanded action against the culprits.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
