In a set back to the SAD, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, four-time MLA from Tarn Taran, has resigned from all posts and primary membership of the party.

The ex-MLA said he had quit the SAD due to ‘personal reasons’. When asked about his next course of action, he said he would consult his supporters in his home constituency about it. Though he refused to accept, there is a buzz that he had inclination towards the Congress and was in touch with top state leadership of the party.
