Three persons lost their lives and four others were seriously injured in a collision between two cars on the Dhanaula-Barnala highway on Tuesday.

Sources said the accident occurred when a car crossed the divider and collided with another car coming from the opposite direction. The accident seemed to have occurred due to a tyre burst.

Police teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a hospital in Barnala, and two to a hospital at Dhanaula. Those killed were identified as Noni, Rohit and Tejinder, all from Barnala.
