Three persons of a family died as a car they were travelling in reportedly hit a tree and fell into a pond in Sriganganagar.

They were on their way to a wedding party and the groom’s brother-in-law and two cousins were among the dead. The victims have been identified as Atma Ram (28), Ramjilal (36) and his brother Kalu Ram (41). All three were cremated after an autopsy at a government hospital. — OC
