Preliminary investigation indicated that the family left Rawatsar by car around 1:30 pm to attend a marriage ceremony in Hisar.

The car, which was being driven by Rajesh, suddenly went out of control and rammed into the tree.

The passersby took the vicitims out of the badly damaged car. While Rajesh died on the spot, Sethi Ram and Devaki died on the way to the hospital. The bodies of the deceased had been kept in a mortuary at Nohar government hospital.
