The creators have come forward and requested their fans to follow them on other social media platforms. Punjabi singers like Gurnam Bhullar and Ammy Virk have told their fans to not be “depressed” or “stressed”.

The singers added that the TikTokers have ample talent and can always switch to other apps.

The five-year-old Punjab star, Noorpreet, has requested her followers to follow her on Instagram now. The video, which has been uploaded on the Sandeep Toor’s TikTok account, who conceptualises and uploads the videos, has Noor saying, “TikTok is going to be banned so if you want to watch my new videos follow me on Instagram.”

“We support the government’s decision, so we have now decided to be more active on Instagram,” says Toor.

Sandeep’s TikTok account has 2.6 million followers, while his Instagram account only has 85,000 followers as of now.

Another TikToker, Varan Atwal said “bye-bye” to TikTok. He requested his fans to not take any stress, and ended the clip with, asking his fans to follow him on Instagram as well.

Revealing that this is her last video on TikTok, Ankita Mendiratta posted a clip.

This decision comes after the recent India-China face-off in Ladakh. The Government of India has now announced a ban on 59 Chinese apps which also includes one of the most popular apps used in India, TikTok.
