Tithi Saraswat from Abohar made the city proud by winning the bronze medal in the National Rifle Shooting Championship 2024, organised by the School Games Federation of India in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Tithi’s exceptional performance earned her the prestigious medal in the competition.

Tithi, along with two other Abohar shooters, Gurnoor Singh and Priyanshi Bishnoi, was selected for the event after winning medals in the state-level shooting competition.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Varinder Singh Brar visited the shooting range in Abohar to honour the winners and commend their achievements. He also recognised shooters who had won in various other competitions.

The event was attended by Deputy Superintendent of Police Sukhwinder Singh Brar, City-1 SHO Maninder Singh, and the officiating principal of DAV College of Education, Dr. Vijay Grover.

The SSP expressed his congratulations to shooting range director Satnam Singh and coach Navdeep Kaur for their excellent training efforts, wishing all the athletes continued success.
