Sangrur: Alleging dummy auction of reserved land in Hedike village, members of the Zameen Prapati Sanghrash Committee (ZPSC) announced to take forcible possession of land. “We will not allow this at any cost and take its forcible possession on August 25, if authorities failed to cancel dummy auction,” said Mukesh Malaud, zonal president of the ZPSC. Demand for regularisation

Sangrur: Employees of de-addiction centres across the state are demanding regularisation of their services. They are working under the Health Department since 2014. “The government has not sought our data for regularisation of services. 2 smugglers held from Abohar

Abohar: Two operatives of Punjab-based smugglers were arrested from near the Abohar-Hindumalkot road on Thursday. They had come to collect five packets of heroin that was thrown from Pakistan near the International Border and were held when their car reportedly got trapped in a field while they were trying to escape.
