The police have booked 11 persons, three of them unidentified, in connection with yesterday’s triple murder case.

Those named in the FIR include Ravinder, alias Ravi, alias Sukhu; Rajvir Singh, alias Daler Singh; Sukhchain Singh, alias Jass Giani; Akshay, alias Bashi; Gautam, Prince, Ashish Chopra and Happy Mall. Sources said they were booked under various sections of the BNS and the Arms Act at the City police station following a complaint by Charanjit Kaur, mother of deceased Dildeep Singh.

As per the complainant, accused Ashish Chopra and Happy Mall had an enmity with Dildeep. Notably, Dildeep also had a criminal history and two murder cases, one each at Mamdot and Kharar, were registered against him. As per information, the NIA had also conducted a raid on his residence last year.

Today, SSP Saumya Mishra, SP(D) Randhir Kumar, DSP (City) Sukhwinder Singh and other police officials visited the spot again for investigation. As per information, 10 teams have been constituted to nab the accused. However, no arrest has been made so far.
