Two brothers, aged about 9-10 years, were found dead in the “sarowar” (holy pond) of a gurdwara in the Peori road area of Gidderbaha today.

Deceased’s uncle Pappu told the media that Sajan and Monu went to play and watch Teej festivities in the neighbourhood last evening, but did not return.

“However, when we went to the gurdwara this morning following a public announcement about missing boys, we found their bodies in the sarowar there,” he claimed. The parents of both boys are daily-wage earners.
