Two men died after their motorcycle collided with an unknown vehicle on the Abohar-Sriganganagar stretch of National Highway 62 last night. The victims, Madan Lal (40) and Mohan Lal (37), were going to Maujgarh village when an unidentified vehicle struck them near the Kallarkhera overbridge and fled. Passersby took them to Abohar Civil Hospital, where Mohan Lal was declared dead. Madan Lal was referred to Bathinda AIIMS; however, he died en route.

In a separate incident, a serious accident was narrowly avoided on the Abohar-Hanumangarh bypass when two stray bulls fought, causing one to collide with a car driven by Davinder Singh. The bull fell onto the car’s roof, but the airbags deployed, allowing Davinder’s wife to escape with minor injuries.
