The investigation revealed that the suspects had killed two wild pigs the previous night by electrocuting them using a live wire in the Bodiwala Pitha area. They were reportedly involved in hunting wild pigs regularly.

In addition to the meat, equipment used for the sale of the pork was seized. A case has been registered against the suspects under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972.
