The Bathinda district police today claimed to have arrested two persons allegedly carrying 1.5 kg of heroin near the Jeeda toll plaza on Friday and seized their car as well.Those arrested have been identified as Manpreet Singh and Sandeep Singh of Bathinda district. Heena Gupta, DSP (PBI), Bathinda, said Manpreet already had five criminal cases against him. A fresh case under the NDPS Act has now been registered against the accused.
