Muktsar: A large number of people travelling in a tractor-trailer had a miraculous escape after a bus had a head-on collision with the former on Malout road. Those in the trailer sought action against the bus driver. Two persons suffered injuries in the accident. TNS

Kin allege police inaction

Abohar: Relatives of a woman who had gone missing from Sherewala village with her child four days ago staged a dharna at Wahabwala police station on Friday. The police officials said the complaint was registered and search was underway.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
