According to information, some farmers, who were working in a cotton field near the Indo-Pakistan border, saw a bag lying there. On being informed, BSF officials reached the spot. The bag carried one packet of one kg heroin and two packets of half kg heroin each. It is suspected the bag had been dropped through a drone used by Pakistani smugglers. Exactly a month ago, on September 17, a young man named Gagandeep was caught by the police while carrying two kg of heroin from a field in the same area.
