The Gurdaspur police have booked two local residents for allegedly compromising national security by leaking sensitive military information.

Dorangla is also known as a hotbed of drone activity.

Senior officials said the two were arrested on May 15 based on “credible intelligence inputs”.

The two were reportedly giving information to their ISI handlers relating to Operation Sindoor. This information involved sharing classified details pertaining to troop movement and key strategic locations in Punjab, J&K and Himachal Pradesh.

A press release said the forensic examination of their mobile phones revealed startling details.
