The complainant said on the night of August 26, his brother Mohit went out with some youth from the village and did not return. The family started searching for him and found his charred body lying on the railway lines the next morning.

He claimed that Mohit was having an affair with a girl of the same village, due to which her family had come to their house. They alleged that the suspects had beaten up Mohit on August 26, when he was going to attend a religious function and threatened him of serious consequences if he ever tried to meet the said girl again. Due to this, Mohit jumped before a train and ended his life.
