A police team led by Assistant Sub Inspector Bhupinder Singh raided a restaurant near a bank branch in Lajpat Rai Market on a tip-off and apprehended three customers along with the owner for operating an unlicensed hookah bar.

The investigation revealed that the establishment was running a hookah bar without the necessary licenses, and liquor was being served without the permit. The suspects were identified as Sahil Kumar, Saurav Kumar, Amit Kumar, and restaurant owner Gagan Bahama. All individuals were released on bail after being issued a warning. A case was registered under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act and the Excise Act. — OC
