Rahul Kapoor, Joint Secretary in Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA), Government of India, visited Patiala today to engage with beneficiaries of key government initiatives, including the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) and the Prime Minister Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme.

During his visit, Kapoor interacted with members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), beneficiaries of the Self-Employment Program (SEP) and street vendors who are benefiting from the PM SVANidhi scheme. The discussions aimed to gather feedback and ensure these initiatives are better aligned with the needs and aspirations of the beneficiaries.
