The Punjab Government is set to administer Covid-19 vaccine to all construction workers and their family members aged 18 to 44 years across the state from Monday.

Health Minister Balbir Singh said the Health Department had received only 1 lakh doses of vaccine for the 18 to 44 age group. It had been decided to cover construction workers and their family members in the first phase.

He said the state government had placed an order of 30 lakh doses with the Serum Institute of India Ltd. — TNS
