He was to attend international conference on “Transforming Agrifood Systems in the Face of Climate Changes and Energy Transitions” at PAU and the prize distribution function at Sat Paul Mittal School.

Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and CM Bhagwant Singh Mann attended the conference at PAU. Kataria said he had come to attend the conference, but he also experienced the consequences of the climate change due to which Vice-President had to return and cancel his visit.

“CM Bhagwant Mann and I understood the situation and took the decision to arrive an evening before the event as it became obvious, we will not be able to make to the venue in the morning due to smog,” he said.
