It has been over 19 days since Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in broad daylight in Mansa. People from all across paid their heartfelt tributes to the late singer in their own ways. From getting inked to painting their vehicles in commemoration, fans have adopted peculiar ways to remember their icon.

In a bid to remember Sidhu, Gippy Grewal’s son has emulated former’s signature step while receiving his graduation certificate at a ceremony in Canada. 15-year-old Gurfateh Grewal, soon after receiving his certificate smacked his thigh and flaunted pointed finger in sky, displaying a sign of accomplishment. Sidhu had been doing this gesture in most of his songs and live concerts.

The video of the event has been shared on Twitter by Indian photographer and content creator Viral Bhayani on Instagram.

Gippy Grewal said he has been very close to Sidhu and his family. He told he used to visit late singer twice or thrice a year. Recently, while remembering Sidhu on his birthday, Gippy shared an elongated note.
