Cabinet Minister Laldeep Singh Bhullar has announced strict action against individuals who have illegally built houses or properties using drug money. He said such properties would be demolished, and all remaining assets would be confiscated as per legal provisions. Bhullar made these remarks while addressing the media after a meeting with the police and civil administration officials in Faridkot on Friday.

The minister also warned that strict action would be taken against police officers or government employees found aiding or sheltering drug smugglers. He urged village panchayats to pass resolutions and enforce a social boycott of drug traffickers and their supporters.

Bhullar emphasised the need for collective action, calling on all sections of society to unite in building a social movement against drugs. He reiterated the Punjab Government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating drugs and drug trafficking from the state, vowing that no leniency would be shown to offenders
