PSPCL (Jalandhar Division) Chief Engineer Rajeev Parashar today assured resolution of power-related issues faced by small-scale industries.

The Phagwara branch of Laghu Udyog Bharati conducted its general body meeting under the leadership of branch president IP Khurana. Prashar was also present in the meeting.

Members of the organisation, including state vice-president Ashok Sethi and Phagwara branch secretary Arvind Bagga, raised various power-related issues faced by the industrial sector. On this, Parashar assured them of timely solutions to these problems, even as the power department was facing staff shortage. He emphasised the significance of small-scale industries in the economic development and prosperity of the state and the country.

The Chief Engineer also committed to providing all support to the industry to overcome the issues.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
