Dara Singh, the victim’s father, alleged that his son-in-law Gagandeep Singh was having “illicit” relationship with a woman for the past one year. He stated that due to this, his daughter was mentally upset for the past sometime and took the extreme step.

The Sunam police have booked Gagandeep and a woman under Section 108 of the BNS.
