The Sunam police have arrested a woman and confiscated 500 habit-forming tablets from her possession.

The accused has been identified as Sindar Kaur.

“While patrolling on the Bigadwal road, we arrested Sindar Kaur and confiscated 500 habit-forming tablets. Her husband Kala Singh is also involved in the crime. A case has been registered against both husband and wife. Raids are being conducted to arrest Kala Singh,” said Inspector Darshan Singh of Sunam police station. — TNS
