A fire broke out in a mechanical workshop on Sito Gunno Road in Abohar on Saturday night. The fire was so fierce that the entire goods lying inside the shop were burnt to ashes and even the walls were damaged.

The owner of the workshop, Kuldeep Singh, said that at around 1 am, he received information about the incident. He immediately reached the spot but the fire had already razed everything.

The people nearby had already informed the fire brigade. The team was successful in controlling the fire after about an hour. The owner said that new batteries and customers’ belongings were in the shop, all of which had been gutted in the fire.
