Addressing the departing teachers at Punjab Bhawan in Delhi, Mann stated, "It is a matter of great happiness that today 72 teachers are going to Finland for training. You are the ones writing the future of Punjab and the country, developing the talents of our children."

The Chief Minister also highlighted the government's commitment to improving public education, asserting, "We will make government schools in Punjab so excellent that parents will have the option of sending their children to either private or government schools. The difference will be that private schools will charge fee."

This follows a previous initiative where principals were sent to Singapore for training by the Punjab Government.
