A youth wanted in connection with a heroin smuggling case that was lodged around 5 months ago in Hindumalkot area in Sriganganagar district has been arrested.

On Saturday night, Superintendent of Police Gaurav Yadav confirmed the arrest of 19-year-old Husandeep Singh of Daulatpura village.

On March 12, the BSF had recovered 3.490 kg heroin in 6 packets from Hindumalkot. The Narcotics Control Bureau had registered a case. He will soon be handed over to Punjab Police, an officer said.
