Meet Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan who has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025

In a moment of pride for Sriganganagar, 22-year-old Manika Vishwakarmahas been crowned Miss Universe India 2025.

Daughter of Kamal Kant Suthar and Shakuntala Suthar, Manika, who previously won the Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024 title, was crowned by her predecessor Miss Universe India 2024 Rhea Singha in a ceremony on Monday evening in Jaipur.

She will now represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled for November 21, in Thailand.

Manika said, “My journey began in my hometown, Sriganganagar. I came to Delhi and prepared for the competition. We need to inculcate confidence and courage in ourselves. Everyone played a big role in this. I thank all those who helped me and made me what I am today. Competition is not just a field; it is a world of its own that builds the character of a person.”

The Miss Universe India 2025 pageant, hosted in Jaipur for the second consecutive year, saw 48 contestants from all across the country competing for the title.

The jury that included actress Urvashi Rautela, praised Manika’s performance for its poise and authenticity.

The 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, marking the fourth time the country has hosted the event, will see Manika vying for the global title against contestants from around the world.
