Five students studying in Class IX at The Gera School (TGS), one of the most prestigious schools in Goa excelled in Trinity College London Examination in Speech and Drama.

Three out of the five, namely Omkar Rane, Kabir Gadre, and Ananya Vyas, achieved Merit while Lucius Almeida successfully secured a Distinction. Another student, Yohaan Pereira, cleared the examination due to his diligent efforts.

This was most likely the first international digital examination that TGS students have ever taken. When the students graduate from TGS, they will leave with two international certificates from two different examining bodies. If they opt for more examinations to challenge them, they will also add to their academic credits. Despite all the setbacks and lockdowns, the five students have done exceedingly well.

The school, which continually seeks to invest in the overall development of its students, believes that the Trinity College London Examinations work synergistically with their focus on life skills by encouraging students to think and act creatively, communicate effectively, and nurture individual styles of expression. After this remarkable success, the school will now look to expand the program to other Grades.

The school also applauded the tireless efforts of Jurish Nath, a member of staff who himself is a certified Trainer for the Trinity College Examinations, for training the students very successfully.
