Aleesha Chaudhary from Grand Columbus International School here has scored 98.4 per cent marks in Commerce stream in Class XII exams.

“I hardly cared about topping the school or the district, though I did my studies seriously and feel happy that I have got excellent marks,’’ say Aleesha a resident of Sector16 A here. She had scored over 98 per cent in Class X exams and has been a brilliant student and brought laurels to the school ,” says Suresh Chander, Principal of the school. Dhristi Kumari who got 98 per cent marks in the medical stream is one of the 35 students of the school who has scored 90 per cent or above, he adds.

Another topper in the district is Charanjit Kaur of Vidya Mandir School, Sector15 A here, who has secured 98.8 per cent in in the commerce stream. Charanjit says she has worked hard and is happy to secure the top spot in the district. Kamna, another student of this school, has also secured her name in the toppers’ list with 98.4 percent marks in the commerce stream. As many as 35 students of the school have scored 95 per cent or above, according to Indira Lohiya, director of the school.
