The annual prize distribution function ‘Deep Shikha’ was held at DAV Public School, Manali. On the first day, Raman Sharma, SDM, Manali, and KS Guleria, ARO, HP Zone-C, were the chief guest and guest of honour, respectively. On the second day, Torul S Raveesh, DC, Kullu, was the chief guest, and Mohit Chugh, Manager of DAV Public School Manali, was the guest of honour. The cultural extravaganza on both days was a huge success, with performances that included an Arya Samaj ‘bhajan’, welcome dance, group dances showcasing India’s rich diversity, a patriotic dance-drama, and musical plays highlighting the importance of values and a presentation on ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshth Bharat’. Students who excelled in academic and co-curricular competitions were honoured. The initiative of awarding students for being best in communication, discipline, social skills, full attendance, and punctuality was greatly applauded. The guests praised the school’s discipline, academic standards, and students’ talent, and urged parents to support their children’s development. The chief guests and guests of honour appreciated the school’s efforts in fostering academic excellence, creativity, and personal growth of the children and congratulated Principal Anita Verma and the team for their dedication and commitment to making the school achieve new heights.
