Sports meet at Ryan International School, Patiala, hosted its much-awaited 18th Annual Sports Meet for students of classes III to XII. The Guests of Honour included Navjot Singh Dhaliwal, District Sport Officer, Punjab; Gurjit Singh Garcha, Retd. Subedar, Punjab Sports Department; and Charanjit Singh Bhullar, Secretary, School Sports, District Patiala. Jasjit Singh Dhillon, a Silver Medallist representing India in the 4 x 100 Relay at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championship, a former student of the school was also present on the occasion. A march past by students was the highlight of the opening ceremony. The Principal Pooja Sharma declared the meet open. The subsequent track- and-field schedule showcased a wide array of events for students across different age groups. Students from the primary wing participated in fun races like the 'Burst the Balloon Race' and 'Fill the Bucket Run,' while older students (classes VI-XII) competed in sprints, hurdle races, and various relays. The schedule was interspersed with entertaining group drills, along with the spirited inter-House competitions, including tug-of-war and various relay races. The medal distribution ceremonies were conducted in three segments throughout the day. The competition was incredibly fierce, culminating in a spectacular tie for the 1st position between C.V. Raman House and Isaac Newton House. Albert Einstein House secured the 2nd position.
